Williston

The month of June went by...fast. I haven't had time to sit in front of a computer infact, I should not be sitting in front of this computer right now--I have so much I should be doing.

We made it to Williston. We are unpacked and ready to start living normally--I think. The first week (or so) back, we stayed at my parents house ( we took over David and Lori's casa). Jesse had to leave for work right after we arrived, so unpacking wasn't as easy as I would have liked it to be. My parents, Jesse's sister (Lisa), and Jesse's brother ( Eric) have been very helpful. Sue and Erv moved out to their farmhouse and are super busy trying to get settled in. I am thankful to Sue and Erv ( Jesse's parents) for letting us live at their house. Sue and Erv are the two most generous people I know. They would do anything for anyone. I admire them in a way I can't put into words. Sue has been through a lot this last year-- her strength is amazing. Sue and Erv, I love you and thank you for everything you have done for our family.

I made it through my ten year reunion--barely. It was the most fun I have had in a long time. It was wild. I saw things I hadn't seen since high school. I didn't get to drink with my classmates, but it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating (they make non-alcoholic beer that suits me just fine, and I didn't wake up with awful hangovers). It was fun to catch up with my old buddies. The only thing that disappointed me during the reunion, was that I was reminded how incredibly short I am. Either I have extremely tall classmates or I really am just VERY short.

Williston sure has changed. I can't get over it. There are so many new people in this town. I had the pleasure of going to the county fair a couple of weekends ago with my brother Jake ( who also has been very helpful to us since we have been home). I didn't know anyone sitting in the beer gardens. Usually, I know everyone at these type of events. I saw two older ladies dancing on the dance floor wearing overalls with nothing but their bras underneath. It was an interesting sight. I kept thinking to myself, "Did they get dressed for the fair together? "Did the one lady ask the other lady if her outfit looked cute, and did other lady think that the other looked so cute she should wear the same?"

All and all we are doing great. I miss Jesse as he is gone working this week. Keyton started baseball, and Halee starts dance this Tuesday---she is going to something called princess camp. Owen is doing wonderfully here in Williston and has really taken a liking to is grandmas and grandpas.
