Blogging?

I really don't know the first thing about blogging. I am going to give it a good try. I am thinking I should not begin with my life story..right? I shouldn't tell the very first memories I have? Okay-- I won't. I guess this is MY blog and I can do anything I want. I have never heard of blogging police or blog laws so I think I will be okay. I will tell the tales of today and thereafter.

Right now all three of my babies are in bed. Keyton (7) fell fast asleep after I read him Diary of a Wimpy Kid (okay where is the underline button on this blog spot thing? Well never mind me not siting my reference correctly). Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a fantastic book about a hilarious child in middle school. I must admit that I enjoy these books more than Keyton . I laughed and laughed at this book tonight ( I highly recommened Diary of a Wimpy Kid). Anyways, while reading tonight my daughter Halee (4) sat on the top of her brother's bunk bed and threw stuffed animals at my head while I read to Keyton. I was deeply fascinated by this book, so I ignored the whole getting banged in the head with a giant stuffed shark thing, when I suddenly noticed that Keyton was up out of bed chasing his sister around the room with a bean bag. Yes a bean bag. A very large bean bag at that. I was so enthralled in this book I could not put it down. So I again ignored the unfortunate events until I was finished reading. After I put the book away and I stood up from the floor I did a giant "STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" Halee then climbed under the bunk (knowing mommy can't fit under there) I fished her out and left my son's room and I did not hear another peep out of Keyton. Halee is asleep on the couch right now snoring away. She is sleeping in a jean jacket, a t-shirt, and no pants. Jesse came upstairs a few minutes ago, when I was looking at facebook, and I heard him ask " Is Halee going to sleep in her coat tonight?" Owen (11 months) has been asleep for a few hours. An easy child that Owen is. I just lay him down and out he goes. So different than the other two.

Okay that was the events of today, well actually of tonight. I will now go clean up the massive mess that we call a kitchen and go to sleep. This wasn't so bad really...this whole blogging thing. I have read my fair share of blogs and I still don't really get it. I think that my family which is full of teachers has me all paranoid to write. My mother often calls me after she has read something I have written and tells me about all of my spelling and grammar errors. I guess this can be my online journal?? Only I would like to share it with my friends and family--so I will leave most details out that I think might cause some family members and friends to stop speaking to me.
